We've been in business for over twenty-five years, and during this time we've earned the reputation as the best in the business. For this I give credit to the many hard-working, dedicated employees who work for SONOCO.

SONOCO was originally conceived to fill a market need; that is to provide a high-quality catering service for the petroleum industry. Prior to that time, catering was often an afterthought, and no one really considered the importance of good catering to the morale - and resulting safety - of the personnel working offshore.

We were convinced that the need was real, and I believe that we have been justified in that belief. Through the years, we have seen competitors come and go, but we have continued on - largely because of our commitment to total quality service for our customers.

Our company was founded on simple principles. Treat your employees with dignity and respect. Expect excellent performance from them - and reward them for it. Be fair and honest with everyone - vendors, employees, and of course, our customers.
